Event Terms and Conditions
All participants are expected to follow a basic code of conduct while attending an event. This code of conduct includes the following:
- Treat all players, Tournament Organisers, and Judges with respect.
- Be a good player, and engage in good sportsmanship. Some games (such as Pokemon) outline this element in detail; if in doubt, please check any tournament regulations for specific games, often located on the publishers' website.
- Respect decisions made by Tournament Organisers and Judges; all decisions made by these individuals are final. If you disagree with a decision made, arrange to speak to either a Judge or a TO privately after the event.
Players will be issued a warning if there is any misconduct during an event. Three warnings will result in a player being removed from the current event and banned from all future events. Warnings are considered to be valid for 12 months.
Tickets are non-refundable (unless the event is re-scheduled or cancelled by the organisers), however at the organisers' discretion we may allow tickets to be transferred to another player. If an event is rescheduled or cancelled by the organisers, refunds may be offered. Purchasing any ticket indicates full acceptance of this condition.
Players are required to be punctual to all events. Any player arriving later than 15 minutes after the designated starting time of an event will forfeit their place in the event. In this instance, no refund will be offered. Consideration will be given to exceptional circumstances.
Additional terms and conditions may apply depending on the game being played; please review the specific game's regulations for more details.
